Ste Genevieve, MO (August 6, 2022) – Authorities were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle collision in the Ste Genevieve area that ended in injuries. At 10:22 a.m., on August 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash took place on Missouri State Route 32 that required assistance.
Investigations surrounding the accident show that a 2014 Ford Mustang was traveling west on Missouri State Route 32. At the same time, a 2017 Dodge Journey was traveling eastbound on the same roadway. A 2018 Chevrolet Equinox is traveling directly behind the Dodge.
As the Dodge began to make a left turn into the pathway of the Ford, the right side of the Dodge struck the front of the Ford. After the impact, the front of the Ford then struck the left of the Chevrolet.
The Dodge in the Ford had to be towed from the scene as a result of the damage suffered in the crash.
Three people suffered injuries due to this motor vehicle accident. EMS rendered aid to 23-year-old Taylor Armbruster, 25-year-old Dakota Bishop, and 80-year-old Virginia Tucker.
Tucker was then transported by EMS to Parkland health center hospital for treatment of injuries. Bishop and Armbruster were both transported to Ste Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by ambulance for care.
The crash is under investigation at this time.
