Kolkata: The driver of the bus that injured nine people in Behala on Tuesday, Surajit Sarkar (32), was arrested by Parnasree Police on Wednesday.
The bus itself has 271 traffic cases pending against it, including cases of serious signal and stop-line violations. The bus plying on route 12C/1 is also under probe to ascertain if it was registered in the name of any other route. tnn
