The number of active COVID-19 cases in Columbia and four surrounding South Arkansas counties dropped on Thursday, according to the Arkansas Department of Health.

There were no additional COVID-19 related deaths.

Total Cumulative Cases: 5,852

Total Active Cases: 132, down five since Wednesday

Total Recovered Cases: 5,621

Total Deaths: 99

COVID-19 Metrics for Lafayette County

Total Cumulative Cases: 1,363

Total Active Cases: 18, down one since Wednesday

Total Recovered Cases: 1,314

Total Deaths: 30

COVID-19 Metrics for Nevada County

Total Cumulative Cases: 2,390

Total Active Cases: 46, down one since Wednesday

Total Recovered Cases: 2,299

Total Deaths: 45

COVID-19 Metrics for Ouachita County

Total Cumulative Cases: 6,024

Total Active Cases: 145, down three since Wednesday

Total Recovered Cases: 5,770

Total Deaths: 109

Total Cumulative Cases: 10,052

Total Active Cases: 261, down nine since Wednesday
