Callaway, MO (August 1, 2022) – A motorcycle accident reported in Callaway County left two men injured. At approximately 5:50 p.m., on July 30, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Route C.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 1996 Harley-Davidson Softail motorcycle was driving in the 9500 block of Route C. As the vehicle slowed down, it was struck in the back by a 2007 Harley-Davidson Dyna low rider. Both motorcycles suffered moderate damage due to the crash.
The incident left two people injured. EMS rendered aid to 65-year-old Patrick Hirschinger and 66-year-old Jeffery Iler at the scene. The two victims were then transported to University Hospital by Callaway County EMS for the treatment of moderate injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash at this time.
