Car Accidents in Missouri
In Missouri, when people are harmed as a result of motor vehicle accidents, they are able to take civil action against the responsible party. This includes filing a personal injury lawsuit against the negligent driver who caused the crash.
The statute of limitations for personal injuries in the state of Missouri allows people to file a claim within a period of five years from the date that the accident occurred. Even though victims have a total of five years to file a legal claim, waiting to do so can prevent you from having the best possible outcome for your lawsuit.
