BREAKING: Jury Says Alex Jones Must Pay $4.1M In Sandy Hook Case

By Christine DeRosa (August 4, 2022, 5:36 PM EDT) — A Texas jury has found Infowars owner and right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones should pay Sandy Hook parents $4.1 million after seven days of witness testimony and evidence.

The jurors deliberated for roughly one day on how much actual damages Jones should pay Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, the parents of Jesse Lewis, a 6-year-old murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, in 2012. The parents were seeking $150 million in damages.

Jones was on trial to determine damages after a Texas judge agreed last year that he and his company committed defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress…
